The same bull. Without the dollar.
Identical hunting to what our overseas clients book, on the same ground with the same professional hunters. What comes off the price is everything a resident does not need.
Charged per hunting day, per hunter.
Arrival and departure days are half days. The day you shoot in on the range is a hunting day. All figures include VAT and do not move with the exchange rate.

Resident Plains Game Five
Five representative trophies over five days
- 5 hunting days, 1x1 with a licensed professional hunter
- Trophy fees for kudu, impala, blesbok, warthog and blue wildebeest
- Full board in an en-suite chalet
- Tracker, skinner and 4x4 hunting vehicle
- Field preparation and delivery to a taxidermist of your choosing
A resident hunter putting together a proper mixed bag without paying the international rate for it. Five animals is enough to be worth the taxidermy bill in one go.
EnquireThe Kudu Week
One good bull, four days, nothing else on the list
- 4 hunting days, 1x1 with a licensed professional hunter
- Trophy fee for one mature kudu bull
- One impala, taken as it comes
- Full board in an en-suite chalet
- Field preparation and delivery to a taxidermist of your choosing
Someone who has hunted here before and wants one animal properly rather than five in a hurry. Four days is enough to pass on the first three bulls you see.

Booking and deposit
A 25% deposit confirms your dates. Weekends in season are held for seven days from the date of quote, not fourteen, because they are the first thing to go.
Paying the balance
The balance of day rates is due on arrival, by EFT or card. Animal fees are settled on the last day against a sheet you sign with your guide, so you are never billed for something you did not see shot.
Wounded and lost game
An animal that is wounded and not recovered after a full day of following up is charged at the full fee. This is the same on both strands and it is the same everywhere in the country. Your guide will discuss it with you before the first shot.
Cancellation
Deposits move to another set of dates within 12 months at no cost, or to another hunter. Inside 21 days of arrival the deposit is forfeited unless we can resell the dates.
Prices
Every figure on the local price lists is in South African rand and includes VAT. Rand prices do not move with the exchange rate. The price on your written confirmation is the price you pay.
Trophies are field prepared and delivered to a taxidermist of your choosing. You deal with them directly and you pay them directly, so there is no handling margin sitting in the middle of it. If you have no preference we will point you at the two we use most.
Local logisticsTell us what you are after.
Give us your dates, the animals on your list and whether you are shooting a rifle or a bow. We will come back with an itemised quote in rand and hold the dates while you think about it.
