Short version: we collect what you send us on the enquiry form, we use it to answer you, and we do not give it to anyone else.

What we collect
We only collect what you type into the enquiry form on this site. There is no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no tracking pixel collecting personal data in the background.
- Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number
- The country you are travelling from
- The details of your enquiry: dates, party size, species, budget and your message
- Standard server logs, which include your IP address and are kept for security purposes only
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, run your safari. That is the only purpose. We do not build a marketing profile from it and we do not use it to target advertising at you.
Who we share it with
Nobody, with two operational exceptions. Your enquiry is delivered to our inbox using Resend, an email delivery provider, which processes the message in transit. If you book a safari, we share only the details necessary with the taxidermist, shipping agent and provincial licensing authority handling your trophies.
We never sell, rent or trade your details to anyone, and we do not pass your contact details to other outfitters or booking agents.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for 24 months, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Booking records are kept for seven years, which is what South African tax and hunting-licence record-keeping requires.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If we add website analytics in future, this policy will be updated before it goes live and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, and under the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within 30 days.
